What Is Crystal Reiki And Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray key) meaning Universal Life Energy.
Reiki is a natural healing energy which works on both a physical and emotional level.It is done by your therapist laying their hands on your body's energy centres(these are sometimes called Chakras) in order to pass Reiki energy onto you. Some therapists prefer to work in your body's aura. Your aura is your body's natural energy field this is done without your therapist actually touching you. Your therapists intuition is the best guideline for which method is best for you.
It is generally accepted that Dr Mikao Usui was given the gift of Reiki while he was meditating on the holy mountain Kori-yama in the late 1800's.
Reiki is a powerful complimentary therapy that may be used safely in conjunction with your regular routine healthcare. It is not, however, an alternative to conventional medicine, you should always contact your GP regarding infectious conditions, infections and anything you feel worried by or which is urgent.
Crystal Reiki is done the same way as reiki but your body's energy centres are enhanced by crystals to give you a more powerful holistic healing session. The crystals used are usually the same colour as the bodys corresponding energy centre (Chakra) although your therapists intuition is again the best guide for which are the best crystals for you as an individual.
